The Coolidge Corner Theater

   On Thursday evening and again all day Sunday, the Slapsticon II program will be presented at the Coolidge Corner Theater. It is a fairly large hall that is equiped for both 16mm and 35mm. Knight Auditorium at Babson College

   On Friday evening the Slapsticon II program will be presented at Knight Auditorium on the campus of Babson College in Wellesley, MA. The hall is equipped for 16mm and houses a genuine Wurlitzer theater organ This instrument is cared for by the Eastern Masssachusetts Chapter of the American Theater Organ Society who are cosponsoring this Friday evening event. Slap II attendees will be bussed to and from Babson.

Hotel Cinema

   During the day on Thursday, again on Friday and all day and night on Saturday, we will present our film program at the host hotel in a ballroom cinema of our own devising. At least, that is the plan and will remain so unless circumstances allow us to opt for something better. The hotel based cinema, despite its lack of authentic atmosphere, is a convenient means of presenting a large amount of film without worrying about transportation costs and times.

Film Program

   No doubt, this list will undergo additions and quite possibly some significant changes between now and showtime. Never-the-less, I have listed below some titles that have been secured for our program. When a full schedule is available, it will appear here. The Slapsticon II titles are being carefully chosen according to very specific criteria. We have a number of collectors contributing and expect to present a full program of obscure films, films that are proven favorites and still others that are stunning in quality or contain footage that has rarely, if ever, been seen before.
